Our Crowdfunding Groups
Have you seen our basement? It's what we're used to but it has SO much more potential. Since Fall 2015, a team of Business and Interior Design students has been working on a plan to renovate what should be the CBE Student Space in the basement of the Albertson Building.
Our team has put thousands of hours of work into this project and we need your help to finish it off!
What's changing? In short, mostly everything. The new design includes updates to the floors, ceiling, and everything in between. Some highlights are new furniture (remember the furniture demonstration last semester?), a green wall, a fireplace, glass walls on our conference rooms, and a bunch of interactive technology. Maybe most importantly, the final design is a place where people actually want to be.
How is the design coming? It's finished! Our team has completed our design and have hired an architect to finalize the details. We've won awards for the project at a few different competitions and conventions and are extremely proud of the product.
So, what's next? As always, funding is next. The CBE administration is working on fundraising for the project from their end but we wanted to create a campaign to show that students care about their future as well.
