Our Crowdfunding Groups
Currently, a student needs a minimum of $150 and one week to participate in an alternative break experience. We know this amount of money and time commitment is not possible for all of our students. The purpose of this project is to assist the Alternative Service Break program in expanding it's offerings and work towards the goal of being an inclusive program.
With your help, the center will add weekend trips to the program in order to offer an alternative break experience that is more conducive to a wider variety of student schedules and financial status. Weekend experiences would also enhance the land-grant mission of the institution by serving the state. Students will learn about real-life issues facing our communities that inspire them to be more involved throughout their lifetimes by giving back and creating a lasting legacy as a Vandal that serves.
