Harvest Heroes is Idaho's first-ever Idaho Veterans beginning farming and gardening program.
This program provides high quality, experiential education that teaches veterans skills in small scale agriculture. The veterans will learn to plan, plant, harvest, and market fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers in a real-world setting. Besides learning a valuable skill, they will be able to grow their own produce to feed their family and those in need, network with other veterans and obtain the healing effects of nurturing a plant from seed to harvest.
