Last Day

October 29, 2019

In 14 hours our campaign will close and we will celebrate the supporters that made it the success that it was. With that being said, it is not over yet! We are at 86% of our goal with only $410 left to go.

Thanks to the support from this campaign, our club members will be able to provide the resources and care that our polo ponies require.

Update on our team: Due to weather, our women's varsity team had to cancel their game against WSU. While no games have been scheduled yet, the team is ready to take on other university teams! They have been practicing hard and hope to get some games in this season.

Once again, thank you for your support; We could not do this without you.

Warmest regards,

The University of Idaho Polo Club

October 18, 2019

In only a couple of days, we have doubled our goal of $1000! Thanks to your generous support, this has been by far the most successful fundraiser we have ever organized and we aren't even done.

With 10 days left to go, we are going to shoot for a new stretch goal of $3000. To put into perspective how impactful this $3000 would be, it would cover five months of board for all three of our horses, 100 bags of grain, or 33 farrier visits.

Update on our team: The women's varsity game, which would have been at 10 a.m. at 1021 Felton Creek Rd. Troy, ID on Sunday is postponed due to unforeseen weather circumstances. We hope to reschedule it on a better date.

We are so moved by your kindness and support. Thank you.

With appreciation,

The University of Idaho Polo Club

We did it! Thank you all for helping us reach our goal of $1000. This would not have been possible without the help of each individual who donated and shared. We can still not believe that in only a week we were able to reach our initial goal. Since our campaign still has 2 weeks left, we are making a stretch goal of $2000.

Update on our team: Our women's varsity team is currently preparing for their first game against WSU this coming Sunday. All are welcome to watch the game and support our team. The game will be held at our arena: 1021 Felton Creek Rd, Troy, ID on the 20th.

Once again we cannot thank you all enough for the overwhelming support.

We still have two more weeks to go and hope to reach our stretch goal of $2000!

With appreciation,

The University of Idaho Polo Club

Soaring High

October 09, 2019

When we checked how our campaign was doing this evening, our mouths dropped. In only two days, you helped raise $900, all of which will go to the care of our polo ponies. A big thank you is in order to all those who donated as well as all those who helped spread the word about our campaign.

This is the first time our club has done a U&I Give crowdfunding campaign and we never thought it would turn out to be this successful! We are only $100 away from reaching our initial goal and we still have 18 days until it comes to a close. If we reach our set goal of $1000, we will set a stretch goal and see how far we can go. All funds going beyond our set goal will also go towards the care of the polo ponies.

Despite the bad weather, our club is carrying on with practices. We are working on organizing a home game with WSU's women's varsity team as well as some scrimmages with our men's and JV teams for the weekend of the 19th.

Once again we cannot thank you all enough for your generosity!

Sincerely yours,

The University of Idaho Polo Club

Off and Running!

October 08, 2019

Our campaign has officially launched and we are so excited to reach our goal of $1000!

Meanwhile, our club has been busy with regular practices 2-4 times a week at our outdoor arena in Troy, Idaho. After lots of recruitment efforts from our team, we have welcomed several students who are new to the sport and are doing mallet training and some light riding. We have also signed on with the United States Polo Association (USPA) and registered our women's varsity team, who will be having their first away game on October 26th against Oregon State University.

We want to thank all of our supporters for donating and spreading the word about our club and cause. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us. We have an official facebook page and instagram account where you can find more information about our club:
