Project Goal:
Our goal for this project is to make debate more accessible to more students. Debate is a costly activity, which is why we are asking for you to help support our efforts. Currently, we pay for 70% of our cost is out of pocket, which is a big strain on a college student budget. The reason that debate is so expensive is that there are so many fees we have to pay to even be allowed in the tournament. In addition to this, the tournaments are not close enough that we can drive there in the mornings. We want to share this amazing activity with our fellow students but we need your help to do it.
About our team:
We are a relatively new team here on campus. This has given us an amazing opportunity to watch our club grow and get better at every tournament. Our team has had amazing success and we want to keep that momentum going.
This donation will go to the team to get shirts or jackets. Help us show our Vandal Pride!
In addition to the school fee, there is a fee for each individual. This donation amount helps one student enter the tournament.
This will help our team go to one of our four tournaments each year. This donation gets us in the door of our competitions.
This donation allows one of our debaters to stay a night in a tournament hotel.
