Our Crowdfunding Groups
Hello everyone! We are the University of Idaho Ski Team and we are asking for your help. Our ski team is a a group of college athletes that come from a wide range of skiing and racing backgrounds. We love giving the students in the Moscow community a way to find people to ski with and enjoy the sport. Each year we have 4 conference races hosted by the Northwest Collegiate Ski Conference that we attend. At these events we compete in giant slalom, slalom, and dual slalom events at the conference and regional levels. Anyone that has been a part of this program knows that we love to have an opportunity to give students an affordable way to ski race.
Unfortunately, with the climate of our world, our university allocations for the year have decreased by a significant sum. Along with this, we are in the need of a new timing system (our current one is on its last legs that have carried it since 1990). Our current timing system is used for time trials that decide our team seedings for races, our alumni race events, and our annual conference race at Brundage Mountain. This cost will take a large amount out of our smaller than typical budget. Our budget is used to pay for lodging, lift tickets, and race fees of our athletes throughout our season. Your donation will help not only us achieve this necessary purchase of our timing system but this will also allow for our program remain affordable for our college athletes.
Anything that you can give will help. That can be a coffee, or a lunch for a racer on a day, or that can be picking up an athletes race fees for their whole season. The cost of this necessary equipment is going to be difficult for our club this season and any donations to our cause will help ensure that our club can continue to be successful and provide the opportunity to ski and make incredible memories doing so in an affordable way throughout their collegiate experience.

For only $15 you can provide a racer with a nice lunch or dinner on the weekend.
If you know the team, you know we love to grill on the mountain on race days with all kinds of weather. Help us keep this going by donating $30 to keep our propane tank and bellies full.
Help a racer out and pickup the cost for their weekend lift ticket. We typically get awesome discounts since we buy our lift tickets in bulk and with a $60 donation you can pay for a racer's weekend of shredding.
This season we will not be able to utilize the lodge for extended periods of time due to how ski areas will be operating for the season. So where are we gonna go when its snowing and raining?! We don't quite know! But - our current thought is getting a few nice wall tents for some shelter. Help us stay warm and healthy this season.
If you were a racer, have a kid who was a racer, or have been around racing you know that racing fees are not cheap! That being said if you're feeling generous you can pick up a racer's whole fees for the season! If you make this donation you'll be getting updates on that racer's success throughout the season too!
More race fees!?! Yes... Regionals have an additional cost when it comes to racing. Regionals will be in the Rocky Mountain Conference this year (Utah or Colorado) and we are very excited as we are really looking forward to having a very good shot at qualifying for Nationals this season. If you select this donation option you will be getting updates from the athlete this season as well!
With this generous donation the equivalent of one member's dues would be donated. This would be able to lower the cost of dues for all of our athletes, greatly helping the entire team. For this donation you will be getting continuous updates on the success of our team so you can see the incredible opportunities this donation would provide us first hand.
