The Center for Health in the Human Ecosystem (CHHE) creates a new model of innovative, collaborative and transdisciplinary research, engagement and transformative education in plant, animal and human health and diseases. This center was founded in 2017 and is established in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. We work to bring together experts and trainees from relevant fields to share knowledge, tools and strategies.
The CHHE supports education about plant, animal and human health and diseases that is accessible to the general public. We would like to create short, informational videos about topics of public interest. These topics will include knowledge that everyday individuals, K-12 teachers, and students locally and across the state could use to understand common garden insects, pollinators, healthy soil, organic agriculture, and more. The videos would be created by students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Idaho.
We would like to use the funds raised to purchase equipment and software to create these educational videos. We would like to buy a high quality camera, microphone equipment, a webcam, and software to complete our goal.
All donors who give $25 or more will receive recognition on our social media platforms Twitter and Instagram.
All donors who give $100 or more will be recognized for their generous donation at the end of every video created
