Helping Communities Connect by Exploring Healthy Ecosystems
Who we are:
The Center for Health in the Human Ecosystem (CHHE) creates a new model of innovative, collaborative and transdisciplinary research, engagement and transformative education in plant, animal and human health and diseases. This center was founded in 2017 and is established in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. We work to bring together experts and trainees from relevant fields to share knowledge, tools and strategies.
The CHHE supports education about plant, animal and human health and diseases that is accessible to the general public. We would like to create short, informational videos about topics of public interest. These topics will include knowledge that everyday individuals, K-12 teachers, and students locally and across the state could use to understand common garden insects, pollinators, healthy soil, organic agriculture, and more. The videos would be created by students in the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Idaho.
With your help
We would like to use the funds raised to purchase equipment and software to create these educational videos. We would like to buy a high quality camera, microphone equipment, a webcam, and software to complete our goal.
Your generosity will help us achieve our goal of creating educational videos. Please consider donating to help our students have the experience of creating education curricula in the form of videos that can reach not only our local community but also others interested in plant, animal and human health and disease.
