The Judith Byram Student Engagement Fund gives the Academic Programs Office the opportunity to truly reach current students where they are in their college experiences. The power of this gift is that it follows the entire cycle of a student’s experience at University of Idaho—funds are used to support engagement of current students and provide them opportunities to see beyond their university life. With your support we will be able to expand our student services.
This fund is special because of the student emergency funding for extenuating circumstances that can keep a student from their studies. According to Dr. Doumit, CALS Associate Dean of Academic Programs, “This fund is a difference of students continuing their education, it really is a game changer.” Supporting students who are in need is something very dear to Judi’s family. Judi’s husband Dennie set up this fund in memory of Judi because of his experiences throughout his time at the University. Dennie was able to make the most of his collegiate experience thanks to the support of generous donors whom he was dependent on at the time. Your gift will directly impact the experience of our College of Agricultural and Life Sciences students.
