This Giving Tuesday, consider a gift to support Vandal students in need, current and future! We are offering three funds to choose from: Vandal Food Pantry, Bruce & Kathy Pitman Fund for Student Emergencies, and Access for All Scholarship Fund. These funds help students overcome financial hurdles that can keep them from exploring their highest potential.
Vandals should be able to focus on their studies without the burden of wondering where their next meal will come from. Vandal Food Pantry (VFP) is a donation-based pantry that aims to serve those in our Vandal community who are facing short-term food insecurity. Gifts to VFP provide food and keep the pantry open as often as possible by addressing staffing and resource issues. VFP played an integral role in alleviating food insecurity in our local communities during COVID-19, and we aim to strengthen this resource to ensure our Vandal community doesn't go hungry.
Many University of Idaho students encounter unexpected financial hardships that can "make or break" their college experience. Unexpected or overdue bills, temporary job loss, medical emergencies and other factors put students at higher risk for dropping out. Emergency funds have an immediate impact by helping students with unforeseen needs, when they need it. Your gift will help students overcome barriers to their academic journey and stay on track with their educational goals.

Our promise to Idaho’s students is for every capable, motivated student in Idaho to have the opportunity to enroll in college, thrive in their educational journey and graduate on time with less debt. Your support of scholarships creates greater access to higher education and helps students confidently pursue their dreams and explore their highest potential.
