If you can, please join us to see architecture students’ final designs for a sustainable school complex. These projects were informed by travel to Togo made possible by your generous donations. Again, a big THANK YOU for your support. We hope to see you on December 13.

With your financial support, I was able to take 10 architecture students to Togo to gather information in preparation for designing a sustainable school for girls. In Togo we met with SHE staff and students to learn about their activities and needs. We visited our building site and the home and farm of a SHE student. We toured the town of Notsé and a nearby village to learn about local culture, history, and vernacular architecture.

Thanks to the generosity of many people we met our campaign goal of $15,000! I am thrilled that we have passed a major milestone in this campaign, over $10,000 raised, 67% of our goal! We are deeply grateful to recent donors who helped us reach this milestone and fulfill the dollar-for-dollar challenge: Walda, Mandi, Shauna, Brittany, Delphine, Jennifer, Frances, several anonymous donors, and the donor of the dollar-for-dollar challenge, Bill.
