A recent generous donation of used cooler parts worth $1,200 helped our campaign reach $2,075 or almost 60% of our target! This donation will make the construction of our cooler simpler and will allow us to focus on purchasing a CoolBot! Thank you, anonymous community member!
If you know someone who feels strongly about good food, local agriculture or student education, please let them know about the Soil Steward Student Farm campaign! We have donors from Illinois, Wyoming, Montana, and Washington - farming and education is everyone’s business! We are so grateful to all the people who have donated so far, please continue to help us spread the word!
In addition to the hardware needed to make this project successful, we need to be able to hook up the entire system! For only $200 we can have the electrical system, including lightening, up and running! We just need 20 people to give $10!
The CoolBot is a device which uses multiple sensors and a programmed micro-controller, which when attached to a standard off-the-shelf air conditioner, functionally replicates a more expensive conventional walk-in cooling system. We want to use CoolBot technology as an alternative to a more costly ready to use cooler system. The CoolBot is $400, we only need 16 people to donate $25 in order to achieve our goal!
In order for the CoolBot technology to work, we need an air conditioning unit. We plan to purchase a 15K BTU unit to be sure our system works efficiently. If only 11 people donate $50, we will reach our goal of $550! Thank you for your contribution!
We are building our own cooler to significantly cut down on costs. We need to purchase lumber, insulation, paneling and a door. This portion of the project will be the most costly, we need a total of $2100 for to build the cooler. If 21 only people give $100, we will make our goal!
