Known as The Sport of Kings, polo is an exceptional combination of athleticism, teamwork and horsemanship that students can learn about and play through the University of Idaho Polo Club. Our club provides horses, equipment, and training, as well as competitive opportunities to members in our JV and varsity teams.
Part of running the polo club is ensuring the care and maintenance of the club's four polo ponies – Chori, Gemma, Peekaboo, and Smartie Jones. This includes covering the cost of board, hay, alfalfa, grain, and farrier and veterinary services. In addition, the club is purchasing new helmets required for players participating at a United States Polo Association (USPA) event. Therefore, your donations will not only directly support the care of the club's polo ponies, but it will help give players competitive experience and allow the club to continue providing the opportunity of polo to students at an affordable price.
