Thank you all for helping us reach over 50% of our fundraiser goal! We are so grateful and humbled by the generosity of our supporters. 

Once again we bring more good news! As stated in the last update, we were awarded two grants to help fund the purchase of our new helmets. Well, this week we were finally able to place our order for four new helmets! This means that all funds from this campaign will directly go to the maintenance and care of our polo ponies! 

We would like to thank our club advisor, the University of Idaho College of Agricultural and Life Sciences and the CHS committee for supporting us. We would also again like to thank all those who contributed to our fundraiser. We are amazed by the range of supporters we have – alumni, family, friends, horse enthusiasts, the polo community, students, faculty, and current club members. We are grateful for you!

Our entire team was thrilled to see that in only 5 days we have reached almost 30% of our goal! Thank you to all who have donated and shared this campaign with others; the difference is tangible.

We bring more good news – our club was awarded two grants to help purchase helmets! This means that, with the addition of the funds raised through this campaign, we will be able to fully cover the costs of our helmet purchase! The rest of the funds made through this campaign will thus go towards paying feed, board and farrier and veterinary services for our polo ponies.

Club Update: weather and road conditions have improved and therefore practices have resumed. Last Saturday, thanks to the good snow and lack of ice, we were even able to try skijoring! Check out our video on instagram!

Our crowdfunding campaign has officially launched and we are so excited to raise money for our ponies and players!

This fundraiser is particularly unique in that we are not only raising funds to support the maintenance of the club polo ponies, but we are also trying to purchase new helmets for competing players. These new helmets pass the National Operating Committee on Standards for Athletic Equipment (NOCSAE) mandate required for all future United States Polo Association (USPA) games and events. These events give players competitive experience and networking opportunities in the polo community. Therefore, your donations directly support both our club polo ponies and our players.

Club Update: Practices have been canceled and will resume when weather and road conditions are more favorable. Meanwhile, our women's varsity team has been participating in the USPA virtual tournament which includes trivia games and challenges. 

We appreciate your support and cannot wait to get back in the saddle to play some polo!
